- Diane helped me organize my tiny apartment which had become out of control in its level of disorganization. Her methods worked perfectly for me. I was worried about having a stranger in my home going through my things, but Diane never felt invasive. What worked best for us was to meet weekly and work together to make a dent in a specific area. At the end of our time working together Diane would give me manageable tasks to complete on my own before our next appointment. She works quickly with great focus, in all her time spent at my house she was always working. I never would have gotten through this task on my own. I needed help and Diane was perfect. She is incredibly friendly and easy to be around, as well as hard working with great ideas for organization. Diane knows what is possible and makes it all happen with her magic. When I moved out of my 1300 square foot upstairs/downstairs condo in Brookline of 13 years into a 547 square foot condo in South Boston-my first thought was “get rid of everything” and start fresh. I’d love to say I followed my gut but I didn’t. I had known Diane when she worked in the financial industry and watch her re-invent herself as a professional organizer years later. Diane is a class act-well put together with an attention to detail to be admired. Initially I had just wanted someone to come in and organize my clutter. During her 30 minute assessment she made several suggestions that literally had me visualize SPACE almost immediately. She organized all my kitchen cabinets, made recommendations for furniture and had a custom made TV shelf to accommodate all of my electronics. The best part was she purchased everything including some really cool hooks for clothing, including belts and scarves. Moving is stressful! It's a full time job. In the past two years, I've needed to move twice while maintaining a full time freelance career and my commitments to my family and community organizations.
One of the most challenging parts of moving for me was in the discovery of how many little sentimental items I've acquired and with which I've been unwilling to part. Diane made everything from preparing and boxing these little items to overseeing how to move the large and unruly sculptures seem like a walk in the park. She also made unpacking feel like a breeze.
